District Dental has always followed the strict infection control standards outlined by the RCDSO/CMOH. We have prepared the clinic to exceed those guidelines in order to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. When we see you at your next visit, things will be a little different!

We have implemented a set of mandatory screening questions. When you are booking your appointment and/or the day before your appointment you will be asked a series of covid pre-screening questions. Those same questions will be asked upon arrival at the office, accompanied with a temperature reading in order to confirm your health status. These questions are also asked to all of our staff daily and their temperatures taken and recorded twice daily. Any temperature reading above 38C will be rescheduled.

Appointments are scheduled with specific time allocations. Please arrive at the exact time that you are scheduled for. If you arrive early for your appointment, you may be asked to wait outside the entry doors. If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, there may be a chance that we will have to reschedule your appointment. Appointments are scheduled as such to avoid patient interaction. At this time, we do not allow more then one patient in the waiting room at a time. We will allow one caregiver for a minor or a person that requires assistance, however friends and family will be asked to wait outside.

Please note that we are using 2 separate entrances — a designated entrance and a designated exit. Please ensure to use the correct door to help us maintain social distancing during your visit.

Masks must be worn at all times while in the office. We ask that you bring your own mask.

Once seated in the operatory room, you will be asked to rinse with hydrogen peroxide to avoid any bacterial/virus concentration that may exist in your mouth.

Between patients, all operatories are thoroughly disinfected with our medical hepa filters on their highest setting for at least 15 minutes. All floors, bathrooms and high touch area are regularly disinfected and sanitized.

For any questions, we encourage communication via phone, text, or email in order to minimize the need to visit our clinic.
